About Eurospotting

Explore the European day-ahead electricity price map to compare bidding zones and delivery periods.

The map represents electricity-market bidding zones, which do not always match country borders. Its colors show the selected public metric in EUR/MWh, while the right panel identifies notable zones and the concrete dates behind winning occurrences.

The public dataset selector provides Interval, Daily, Weekly and Monthly views. Yearly context appears in market insights, but Yearly is not a public dataset selection.

Current delivery periods can be provisional as published day-ahead intervals arrive or source coverage changes. Completed periods use finalized aggregates. Partial and missing states remain visible; Eurospotting does not invent observations to complete a series.

Published current-period summaries use the canonical delivery intervals already available for the whole delivery period, including future intervals that have been published. They are distinct from features explicitly described as observed so far.
